The logo and symbols that you see on my website has been carefully chosen. Below I’ll describe what each one means to me and how I think they relate to the therapy process.

Triskelion
The Triskelion is an ancient Celtic symbol, which represents life-death-rebirth, the elements land, sea and sky, and motion. It also represents growth, change and spiritual development. This relates to counselling and psychotherapy as I believe that humans can grow and change. I also believe humans and nature are interconnected and interdependent and our wellbeing depends on the wellbeing of the earth and vis versa. Lastly, we as human are complex, our unique backgrounds, experiences and cultures impact who we are and how we show up in the world. Counselling and psychotherapy offers a safe place to explore who we are and to get curious about the parts of ourselves that are enlivened and hidden, and perhaps bring these hidden or deadened parts to life.

Water
I believe our identities as humans are fluid. I also believe, like water, we can adapt, change and overcome obstacles.

Unfurling Fern
I see the therapy process as unfurling. The spiral also represents growth, transformation and the cycle of life.

Mountain
Mountains symbolise strength and stability. It takes courage and bravery to start your therapy journey. I believe we can creat stability through knowing and understanding ourselves better.
